ハイランドの秋 その2

☆旅行中です☆


●フェリーに乗って

さて、カーフェリーです（笑）。（日本ではあんまり経験がないのですが、スコットランドでは何度か乗ってます。小さい船のときは、けっこうコワイです。）

船に乗らないと行けないような、ものすご～く遠い場所に、わざわざ宿を取ったのは・・・うむむ、あくまで偶然かも（苦笑）。


●マル島



スコットランドにはとにかく、たくさんの島があります。シェットランド諸島、ヘブリディーズ諸島などが有名だけど、それ以外にもたくさんあります。

その中で、このマル島を選んだコダワリの理由は・・・ありません（笑）。

大雑把にエリアを決めて、ネットで泊まる場所を探していて、たまたま行き当たったのが、この島にある、ものすご～くステキな某プチ・ホテルでした。グルメで有名で、あっちこっちで賞をとっているという話なので、すっかり（小鳥さんが）乗り気になりました（笑）。あはｖ

・・・名前を伏せても、リンク貼ったら意味ないですね（爆）。



とにかく、偶然でも何でも、縁があるから行くわけですから（笑）。とりあえずホテルを決めてから、今ごろになって調べてみると、マル島にはいろいろと、楽しそうな見どころがあることがわかりました。

・・・なんだか、順番違う？

こんな、雰囲気のある古いお城があるとかね（笑）。

Greetings from the Isle of Mull -

Hello all, Kotori-san and I have come to the small Scottish island of "THE ISLE OF MULL", which is utterly beautiful (and feels very much like the end of the world, so removed from the bustles of London).

We checked into our hotel for the evening, where we finally found a PC for guest use. We are in the upstairs lounge, looking out to the bay of Tobermory...

It is very cold, wet, sunny, rainy, sunny, more rain, and the sun again... been like that all day. Should hopefully be able to tell you a bit more about what we do on the island later (but no Japanese language, apologies again).
